The KX7525R Series is a 100μm high heat polyimide (Kapton) tape coated with silicone adhesive, designed for extreme temperature applications up to 260°C for 30 minutes. This gold finger lamination tape offers excellent adhesion strength of 600g, low electrolysis, and outstanding resistance to alcohol, acids, and alkalis. Its clean removability allows for repositioning and reuse without leaving any residue, making it a reliable choice for demanding industrial environments.
The tape features a three-layer construction consisting of a polyimide (PI) film substrate, a silicone adhesive layer, and a PET fluoroplastic release liner. Total thickness is 100μm with an adhesive thickness of 25μm.
Common applications include PCB gold finger protection during soldering, slot insulation for motors and transformers, lithium battery electrode bundling, and high-temperature masking for painting or sandblasting.
