Flame Retardant Black PET Insulating Heat Press Tape for New Energy Battery

SP-TXR3515BR is a 50μm single-sided black PET heat press tape with excellent insulation and flame retardant properties. Adopting epoxy adhesive system and composite base film of PET/PE, it delivers stable and reliable peel strength. The product features low water absorption and minimal thermal shrinkage, maintaining stable physical performance during heat pressing and long-term service. It is professionally engineered for thermal bonding processes and fits demanding industrial production requirements.

This tape has precise dimensional control with a total thickness of 50μm and adhesive thickness of 15μm. Its adhesive is no less than 700g per 25mm width. With water absorption ≤2.0 and low thermal shrinkage in both MD and TD directions, it resists deformation and moisture impact effectively. It supports standardized hot pressing operation: working at 70℃ to 90℃ for 10–20 seconds under pressure above 10 bar, and optimal performance can be achieved after curing at 100℃ for 30 minutes. It also has great process adaptability for mass production.

As a functional insulating and heat bonding material, this tape is primarily used for gel lamination and silicone frame pressing of separator sheets in new energy batteries. It is also widely applied for insulation protection, thermal compression bonding and component fixing in lithium batteries, energy storage modules and related new energy products. Additionally, it can be used for heat sealing, electrical insulation and assembly bonding of various insulated parts in electronic devices, serving as a reliable solution for new energy and electronic manufacturing industries.
